A combined knowledge of IT and QuickBooks and the confidence through every hurdle
The experience was all that I had hoped and then some. A combined knowledge of IT and QuickBooks and the confidence through every hurdle we came upon kept my heartbeat at a steady level pace. That means a lot! I would recommend them again and again. Haiden was perfection and after implementation, he helped me when I came upon a minor emergency with non- judgmental efficiency and understanding.

“Very efficient and knowledgeable. Had an answer for every question I had. The transfer/change to QuickBooks was made mid-year with no interruptions of usage, no lost information. Perfect coordination of tax information for tax returns and reports. If there was ever any delay in responding to a question (I think there was once), he called and let me know why (a meeting with another client). With his expertise as a former practicing C.P.A. and his extensive knowledge of how QuickBooks works and thinks – he was able to turn a 7-10 day project around in 4 days, and come under budget. Whether it was helping with prior bank account balances that did not match a bank statement or updating our system with the proper preferences to make our business process work better, I would not hesitate to suggest Haiden for any type of QuickBooks project you have in mind. I first found Haiden through the Intuit Website as I was searching for Quickbooks Experts. I have been working with him for close to two years now on various custom programming projects related to Quickbooks integration with outside web programs, and found him to be a valuable resource. He is available when I need him, on time with projects, and does a good job in his role as an outside IT consultant for my high tech finance company.

Haiden Turner, owner of Winged Disc Technologies, LLC is the BEST TECH SAVVY QUICKBOOKS ACCOUNTANT that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He taught me everything that I know about Quickbooks, and the value of the customer. He is by far, the best, in his field of expertise, and I would recommend him to anyone. Since working with him in 1998-2000, I have come across his setup work at the UT Dallas University; where he setup a QuickBooksKS system in one of their departments. I was assigned a contract position where I was using the system, and recognized the setup as Haiden’s work. The University was very happy with the work Haiden did. I have known Haiden for about 8 years, first as the Intuit SDK was first exposed. And then second – as I partnered with FLEXQuarters over the QODBC driver for QuickBooks, and currently, using our QQube DataExtraction technology.
He possesses the rare ability of accountant and data analyst where he is extremely knowledgeable about databases, data schemas, data manipulation, and GAAP accounting.
I am constantly amazed at Haiden’s ability to find better ways of improving products, finding product issues, and to think around the box to find solutions to difficult problems.

“We were operating with a “broken” Quickbooks Enterprise file: our file had grown to an unmanageable size, and we believed that a crash was imminent. Our only solution was to create a completely new file. Haiden Turner with Winged Disc Technologies built our new QuickBooks file, and led us through what could have been a very difficult transition. Our experience with him was nothing short of fantastic. Haiden created a new QuickBooks file from scratch, developed a new and simpler Chart of Accounts, set up our new inventory items, transferred data for a large amount of transactions, transferred our customers and vendors, created Journal Entries to allow us to pull reports for the year, and more. The new file was a new and clean version of our previous file. Haiden did an excellent job of mapping out the process, and preparing for the transition. “Haiden of Winged Disc Technologies coordinated the installation of Premier 2007 Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition. We needed to get data out of an antiquated DOS-based Novell system and into QuickBooks. Winged Disc Technologies configured an OCR recognition of the printouts and were able to scan the information into Excel and import it into QuickBooks rather than have to re-key everything. He was also instrumental at revamping our GL codes and accounts to a much more manageable system. After installation when the server that the QuickBooks was installed on crashed he came onsite after hours to help get our system back on line on a different server so the accounting department would not be offline the next day. Easily one of the best companies I have ever worked with!”
